Brook's in Stiches

I wish I could tell you that she is just laughing her head off, but alas I cannot. Last night Brook received 9 stitches in her right knuckle. She was taking our dog out on our retractable leash before going to bed last night. She unfortunately failed to look outside and see if our neighbor's dog was out. Our dog and the neighbor's dog HATE one another. Our dog took off like a shot and ended up practically taking Brook's knuckle with her. The cord on the leash ripped a slab of skin off of her knuckle. She was a brave girl as we drove like a bat out of hell to get to the Instacare before 10 p.m. I was not going to wait for hours in the emergency room. I rolled into the parking lot of the Instacare at 9:57 p.m. She now has a splint for a two weeks while her finger heals. Poor girl!
