Dance, Cough, Dance

The kids had their final dance performance last night.  The kids did a great job.  Brook even had to switch partners (someone that was at least a foot shorter than her).  I have to admit it was pretty comical to see her partner jump around her and try to move her around the dance floor. Ryan did very well (we always hold our breath when he performs).  Ryan likes to mess around in class and then pull it together on stage.  I guess he doesn't want to peak too soon.

Ryan and Brook are doing wonderfully, but the rest of us are sick.  I had strep-throat on Monday. Paul has been hacking up a lung all week and just discovered after a forced trip to the doctor that he is in the beginning stages of pneumonia.  Natalie has been running a fever for a couple of days. She hasn't really been coughing much, but she has had a runny nose.  Today, she just seems miserable.  I finally got her down for a nap after a little Oprah.  She feel asleep on my lap watching it. There are three things that calm her when she is upset; A bottle, music, or Oprah.  She is her mother's daughter.

I've banished Brook and Ryan from the house as much as possible today.  It is a beautiful day, and I don't want them to get sick.  I think after I take Natalie to the doctor and all is calm and happy around here, I am going to sneak out to get a pedicure for my birthday.
