The Bottle is Gone!

Natalie has reached another milestone. She is on day four of operation "ditch bottle". Yeah! I thought it was going to be a struggle, but really my girl has made the transition with grace.

I was really starting to sweat about it because I have read the books and every one said that it was essentially equivalent to ripping your heart out. I was glad that Natalie didn't rip her mommy's heart out too much with hours of endless crying.

I'm also glad it is done because I start work again at the end of August part-time, and I was nervous that it would be hard on my brother-in-law to keep up the no bottle rule. Anything I can do to help that man out is worth it. Salt of the earth!
